What happens during an inventory observation day

Inventory observation is not a surprise raid. When stock is material, we schedule attendance with your operations lead weeks ahead and send count instructions for floor supervisors.

Morning: control the count sheets

We walk the floor with your count team, confirm that unused tags are controlled, and note which aisles are counted first. Slow-moving or high-value items often receive denser testing.

Midday: test counts

We independently recount a sample and compare to your sheets. Differences are investigated while the warehouse is still open — not three days later from a photograph.

Afternoon: cut-off

Goods received and dispatched around count time need clear cut-off documentation. A pallet that arrived after the count but was booked before year-end is a classic misstatement.
